Fellowships & Internships

Our Gap Year Fellowship and Internships are designed to give recent high school graduates and current college students hands-on experience serving families and students across New York City. These interns and fellows work directly with students allowing them to develop a wide range of skills while having a lasting impact on the lives of others.

Wish List

Each time a family visits our office they are welcome to browse our Student Needs Closet which includes fundamental items such as toothpaste, soap, and female hygiene products. Our Amazon wishlist details some of our family’s most pressing needs right now. If you are interested in donating items outside of this list please contact Daniela.Ramirez@ProjectRousseau.org.

Volunteer

Right now, our most significant volunteer need is interpreters to support our Immigration Legal Services. We have a particular need for French, Fulani, Russian, Dari, and Spanish speaking volunteers. This volunteer opportunity can be completely remotely at a time that is convenient for the volunteer. We ask that volunteers are fluent in both English and the target language.
